Grenada

Climate

Grenada's average temperture, 75-85F, is tempered by the cooling trade winds. The coolest time to visit the island is between November and February, typically high season. The driest season is between January and May but it's important to note that even during the island's rainy season (June-May) the island experiences showers that rarely last more than an hour -- and then the sun will shine!

Currency

The Eastern Caribbean Dollar is the local currency. It is advisable to exchange currency prior to your arrival or at a local bank, as the most favorable exchange rates may not be obtained elsewhere. The majority of restaurants and shops accept cash, travelers checks, and major credit cards such as VISA, Mastercard and American Express.
