The company specializes in scuba diving and offers 40 different dive sites to explore around the island. For those who don't enjoy the deep, Scuba Fun offers two-hour snorkeling trips to Creole Rock and Pinel Island. Pinel Island Pinel Island is a small island located just across the water from Orient Bay Beach. This is a great spot for St. Martin vacationers to explore for the day. The island offers a white sand beach, swimming and snorkeling, and casual restaurants for dining. Kontiki Watersports at Orient Bay can take you via water taxi to Pinel Island, just a few minutes away. Or, drive north to Cul-de-Sac to catch a ferry ride from here. Anguilla- Day Trip by Ferry Blowing Point Guests staying on St. Martin might enjoy a day trip to the neighboring Anguilla, a small island known for its gorgeous beaches and casual lifestyle. The Ferry Terminal is located at Blowing Point, about a 20-minute boat ride from Marigot, St. Martin. Please note that when arriving on Anguilla by air or ferry, The Anguilla Immigration Dept. requires U.S. citizens carry a current U.S. passport and a return ticket. Sport Fishing Tournaments The waters off of St. Martin offer a variety of gamefish including marlin, tuna, dolphinfish, barracuda, and kingfish. The Marlin Cup occurs in the month of May and the Saint-Martin Billfish Tournament takes place here every year in the month of June. Boats can be chartered at reasonable rates all year long, although some of the fish are only in season in these waters from December through March.
