Located west of Tortola, this remote island has several bars and restaurants as well as beautiful white sand beaches to spend the day. White Bay Beach is a favorite among residents of the area. To get there take the ferry from West End, Tortola. It's about a 25-minute trip. Call the Jost Van Dyke ferry service (284-494-2997) to check departure times. When visiting the island, be sure to stop by Foxy's Famous Tamarind Bar, Monday-Friday for Happy Hour (4-6pm) to hear Foxy Callwood sing.

We encourage guests staying on Tortola to visit beautiful Virgin Gorda for the day. Virgin Gorda is famous for The Baths, a collection of enormous boulder formations that form clear pools of water for excellent snorkeling and swimming. A roundtrip ticket between Tortola and Virgin Gorda costs $24 for passengers. Smith's Ferry Services offers multiple daily departures. Please call for the updated ferry schedule.

J.R. O'Neal Botanic Gardens offer a beautiful collection of flora and fauna for all to see. Visit the orchid house or small rain forest within the 3-acre lot. The gardens also have a small birdhouse with lovebirds that nibble on feed while local chickens pass outside the cage to catch remnants. Open daily.
