Brewer's Bay Beach
Located North of Cane Garden Bay, Brewer's Bay is a large, sandy beach that caters to fewer guests than its tourist-happy neighbor, Cane Garden Bay. The beach has campgrounds along its edges and a popular restaurant/bar at its south end.
Cane Garden Bay Beach
A well-known beach on Tortola, Cane Garden Bay is a gorgeous white sand beach that is popular among tourists. It has a bars, restaurants and shops right along the beach making it a happening spot during the day and night. Many of these bars have large hammocks for you to lounge in while drinking a cold beverage.
Long Bay Beach
Located in the West End, Long Bay is a lovely white sand beach sitting directly in front of the Long Bay Beach Resort. Most guests simply sit amongst its palm trees reading novels and admiring the view. The majority of the water is full of low reefs making it a bit difficult for swimming. However, there are open patches of water to enjoy splashing about.
Smuggler's Cove Beach
If you are interested in snorkeling, try Smugglers Cove. This quiet beach is a favorite among island guests and locals for snorkeling and swimming. A make-shift beach bar run by a local islander offers frozen drinks, beers and snacks. Be prepared to travel the dirt roads to get here but it's easy to find. Just follow the wooden signs!

Located west of Tortola, this remote island has several bars and restaurants as well as beautiful white sand beaches to spend the day. White Bay Beach is a favorite among residents of the area. To get there take the ferry from West End, Tortola. It's about a 25-minute trip and costs $15per person, round-trip. Call the Jost Van Dyke ferry service (284-494-2997) to check departure times.
